Rare Nikon Coolpix — Overview

The Nikon Coolpix E3500 is a rare vintage digital camera prized by collectors and retro photography enthusiasts. Its standout feature is the distinctive rotating lens design, which sets it apart from modern point-and-shoot models. When comparing listings, focus on condition (tested working vs. untested), whether accessories like chargers are included, and overall price. A fully tested unit with all original components offers the best long-term value for display or occasional use. For a collector seeking a unique piece, this rotating lens model is a standout find, while a budget-friendly tested option works well for those prioritizing function over completeness.

Compare with similar items

Both listings feature the same 3.2-megapixel E3500 in used, tested-working condition. The rotating lens model at $146.99 includes the signature lens mechanism and is fully tested, making it the better collectible. The no-charger version at $99.97 is the lower-cost entry point but requires sourcing a separate charger. For most buyers, the rotating lens model offers superior value given its iconic design and completeness.
