Lippert LatchXtend&amp;#84<wbr/>82; Easy Open RV Door Handle Extension for Entry Doors wit

eBay Lippert LatchXtend™ Easy Open RV Door Handle Extension for Entry Doors with a Standard Paddle Latch, Extends Reach by 14", Easy Retrofit Installation, Perfect for Kids and Seniors - 2022301969 | Fits right-handed entry doors with standard paddle latch, curved grip surface, retrofit install, hardware and keys included Description Using a standard RV entry door paddle latch may seem like an economical way to enter your RV, but have you ever considered its ergonomic issues? Paddle latches tend to be difficult to use because of their small size. It’s not easy to get your fingers under them in order to get your entry door to open. Additionally, the size presents problems when your entry steps are closed, and you have to engage the latch from the ground. Good luck reaching it! The Lippert LatchXtend RV door handle makes it easier to access the latch while providing more leverage for opening your RV door. This RV door handle extends your reach by 14 inches, offering a larger and more comfortable gripping surface when compared to a typical paddle latch. LatchXtend is ideal for kids, seniors and those with limited mobility who have difficulty applying the necessary force to open a standard paddle latch or have trouble reaching the RV door latch safely. Additionally, our easy open RV door handle helps eliminate tricky footing when it comes to opening your entry door. Most campers require at least two to three steps up to reach the door handle on the entry door, so you have to ascend your steps, grab the handle, then walk backward down the steps to get the door open. With LatchXtend, there’s no need to step backward. Simply ascend a step or two, reach the handle, then swing the door open in front of you. LatchXtend also comes in handy when your unit is in storage, and you can’t access your steps to reach the door handle. With our RV door handle extension, you can simply unlatch the door from the ground, then climb in. The LatchXtend camper door handle replaces the existing latch on your RV door, providing a permanent attachment to your rig. It’s easy to install and is compatible with any right-handed door that has a standard paddle latch. In addition, this RV door handle upgrade is constructed from cast aluminum and steel — perfect for a permanent setup in the outdoor elements. Features: EASY ENTRY DOOR ACCESS The LatchXtend RV door handle extension adds 14 inches to the length of your entry door handle, creating more leverage for actuating the latch on your door LARGE GRIPPING SURFACE The natural curvature of our RV door latch replacement handle provides a large and comfortable gripping surface not found on standard paddle latches PROMOTES SAFETY LatchXtend prevents the need to step backward down your RV steps after youve engaged the entry door latch. This helps children, seniors and those with limited mobility safely actuate the latch to open the door HIGHLY COMPATIBLE This RV door handle upgrade is compatible with any right-handed entry door that has a standard paddle latch SIMPLE RETROFIT INSTALLATION In just a few easy steps, you can permanently attach this camper door handle to your RV door.
