Vintage pair of 1950s Channellock Grip Lock pliers. 1.To open grippers - Put blue plastic knob in the palm of your hand and pull back lever that is attached to the spring, jaws should open. 2.Put jaws on nut or whatever you want to grip and release lever. 3.Squeeze bottom lever, the lower short lever pops out locking the pliers. 4. Push it back in to release. I had to play with it a while to figure out how it works. I hope my instructions don't confuse you. These are a rare find and would make a great addition to your tool collection.
