"We plunder the rich under the protection of our own courage.". Black Sam, alias Samuel Bellamy, was a legend amongst 18th century pirates. The skull adorning the ring bears a patched eye while the other is set with garnet; this character, topped with a three-cornered hat, recalls the tumult of sabers and muskets amidst the ocean spray.
