These ladles date to 1800 and were made by William Eley & William Fearn. Each ladle has a monogram of D in Gothic script on the front of the handle. Each piece is hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter E for 1800, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for William Eley & William Fearn.
