See the live listing →Cordless circular saws from $25 plus 7-1/4-inch framing blades in singles, ten-packs and bulk.
A circular saw is the one power tool that cuts sheet goods, dimensional lumber and trim with the same blade just by changing the depth and the bevel. It is faster than a hand saw for anything long, more portable than a table saw for anything large, and cheaper than a track saw for anyone who cuts sheets a few times a year rather than all day. The listings we checked are real eBay offers and the prices below were confirmed in October 2026. eBay prices move and vary by seller and condition, so treat each figure as an asking price rather than a fixed ticket.
The pool splits the same way the market does: most of it is 7-1/4-inch framing blades — the consumable a working saw chews through — plus a few cordless and corded saws at the budget end. Both halves are covered below, in that order.
A framing blade is coarse by design. Twenty-four teeth rip through softwood studs and sheet material quickly, and an anti-friction coating keeps the blade cool while cutting and resists corrosion and gumming. Blades are the cheapest performance upgrade a circular saw owner can make: a fresh 24-tooth blade pulls easier, wanders less and leaves a straighter edge than a tired one, and it costs less than lunch.
If you cut occasionally, buy one at a time. The genuine is $8.99, the is $12.99, and the at $14.97 works out at roughly half the single-blade price per blade. That two-pack is the sensible quantity for a homeowner with one saw and a shed full of offcuts.
For anyone framing, deck-building or cutting insulation board in volume, bulk pricing is where the value sits. The is $98, the is $99.70, and the is $85. The at $124.06 is the alternative branded bundle. At the top of the range, the at $225 and the at $190 are contractor quantities — the per-blade price drops sharply, but only makes sense if you will actually use them before the coating dulls in storage.
Not every cut wants a framing tooth. The at $47.99 handle steel, aluminium, strut and angle iron, which a 24-tooth wood blade should never be asked to do. The at $20 suit a smaller 6-1/2-inch saw with a 5/8-inch arbor. And the at $67.40 is a 10-inch blade: it will not fit a standard 7-1/4 saw at all, and is meant for a larger ripping setup where a clean, glue-ready edge matters more than speed.

See the live listing →Four saws are in the pool, and all four illustrate the same trade-off: blade size and depth of cut against weight, price and battery platform.
The at $25 is the cheapest entry point in the pool, cutting to 45 degrees of bevel and arriving ready to work. The at $45 swaps in a brushless motor for twice the money, which runs cooler and squeezes more cuts from the same pack. Both take a 6-1/2-inch blade, which is lighter and easier to control overhead but leaves a shallower maximum depth than a 7-1/4.
The at $59.99 is a one-handed cut-off tool rather than a framing saw — useful for panel, laminate and trim work where a full-size saw would be clumsy, and it runs on DeWalt 20V MAX packs you may already own. At the other end, the at $79.99 is a used all-metal American-made machine with a push-to-lock blade change: more depth of cut than any 6-1/2-inch cordless, no battery politics, and the weight that goes with it.

The single biggest improvement a casual owner can make is a straight-edge guide. Clamp a straight length of timber or aluminium parallel to the cut line, offset by the distance from the blade to the edge of the saw's base plate, and run the base against it — the first cut is then as straight as the guide. Set the depth so the blade clears the work by only a few teeth: a blade buried to the arbor throws more dust, wanders more and is more likely to bind. Support the offcut so it cannot drop and pinch the kerf, cut with the cord or battery lead clear, and never remove the guard.
A track saw is the better answer when sheet goods are your daily work. It rides a guide rail, plunges for a controlled start, and leaves an edge that needs no sanding — but it costs several times what a basic circular saw costs and requires the rail. For a few sheets a year, a straight-edge guide on a budget saw delivers most of the same result for a fraction of the money. Buy the circular saw, spend the difference on blades, and revisit the track saw only when the work demands repeatable cabinet-grade edges.
A circular saw rarely works alone: the best cordless drill deals covers the fixing side of the same projects, and the best tape measure deals matters when the layout has to be right before the first cut.
For a first saw, the brushless Hyper Tough 20V with battery and charger at $45 is the cheapest way into a working cordless setup, and a two-pack of 7-1/4 framing blades at $14.97 keeps it cutting. For regular sheet and framing work, buy blades in tens — the per-blade price collapses once you move off singles and two-packs. Prices were confirmed in October 2026 and eBay stock moves daily, so check the live listing before you buy.
A 7-1/4 inch saw cuts deeper and can rip a 2x4 in one pass; a 6-1/2 inch saw is lighter and cheaper and is fine for sheet goods if you accept the shallower depth.
Around 24 teeth is the framing standard for fast, rough cuts in softwood; higher tooth counts give cleaner edges in sheet goods and metal.
Clamp a straight-edge guide parallel to the line, offset by the distance from the blade to the base plate edge, then run the base against the guide.
When repeatable, cabinet-grade edges on sheet goods are daily work; for occasional cuts a straight-edge guide on a basic circular saw gives most of the result.
